Buried in the text about the new scripts page is the link to the old Scripts Wiki is available. To access the old Scripts Wiki go here.Enjoy!
I've been away on National Guard business so I haven't been able to check in. Apparently there are some access issues with the wiki. I apologize for that and am working to alleviate the problem.Stay Tuned.
TrapDoorSpider asked how they can help bring the scripts back. It's really simple. I've uploaded the old wiki but to make adding and editing scripts easier we're integrating a WYSIWYG editor. Here's what to do:
Yeah that's right! The site is coming back. We have located a full backup for the old site including the database. Instead of restoring the old site we've decided to move forward with a new site. There's more good news! Since we decided to use dokuwiki, which uses flat files instead of database entries, it won't be long before the scripts are restored.
In fact, the scripts are the first asset we are going to bring back. That means the Wiki will be returning as well. It still needs much work (ahem...volunteers?). We're going to try something a little different to encourage more participation in the wiki. Since the concept of 'editing a wiki' scares a lot of people we are going to use a system that doesn't use most of the wiki-style formatting code. Instead it will use a WYSIWYG editor. Yay! Yes CamelCase will still be supported.
Next will be the forums. We expect them to be focused mostly on scripting questions.
Further news, I've reinstalled radiant and am working on ut4_ReverseCTF. It's going to be a blast! Since I will be recovering a lot of new mappers ground again I wiill be putting together tutorials on simple mapping things I learn. I've noticed that as many mapping sites there are, that there still aren't many that include little things that new mappers spend a lot of time trying to figure out. Especially when it comes to UrT many of these things can take up a lot of time. This is time that could be spent cranking out new maps. So with that...
